I bought this black beauty a few months ago with a few upgrades like a P/J pick up configuration and an extra nut to play in Drop-C. I absolutely love this instrument in every way. At first I thought it might be a little heavy, but it's a lot lighter than expected. Although it tends to neck dive, bit this is tamable.
Sound-wise, the bass really blew me away. It is crystal clear and has infinit sustain. Every single tone cuts easily through the whole band if you want.
The build quakity is pristine and worth every penny.
