I've collected several excellent aluminum guitars/necks from EGC, Baguley and Robot Graves over the last decade, but I'd have to say I was surprised and floored to find that my Aluminati neck is superior to all of them. It is lighter, more resonant and just feels better in my hand than the others do (I feel like I can play the $h!! out of it too). The fretwork is impeccable and the thing sustains forever and a day. I'm stoked that I ordered one to pair with my old Silver Sparkle Jagmaster body this year. I'll be ordering a baritone and a carbon fiber version soon as well. Anyone wanna buy an EGC baritone or RGI neck?? Kidding, not kidding. :)
I was so impressed with the quality and feel of the Aurora neck I bought, that the day after I got it I purchased a Nebula for another build. I now have an amazing black paisley tele with an Aluminati Nebula neck on it. Not only does it look amazing, but it plays like a dream.
Working with James and team was an excellent experience too. Very responsive, and just an overall nice guy. Happy to show the the support they deserve!
I definitely see another Nebula purchase in the near future, and possibly an Andromeda to cover my bass needs.
Not only is James and his team extremely communicative and transparent with the process, the product is flawless. Trust me, I've tried ALL of the other brands and aluminum guitars, and this is in a different league.
The weight is perfect, the feel is familiar, the tone is tremendously piano-like, and guess what? It stays in tune! This is my first but definitely not my last purchase with Aluminati.
Lastly, I'll say what no one else is...Aluminati has the best headstock designs for aluminum necks. Period.
